Your privacy is important to us. We value our relationship with our customers and service providers and appreciate the trust you place in Roadside Protect. To maintain your trust, protecting the confidentiality and integrity of your personal information is imperative. This Privacy Policy describes how Roadside Protect, Inc. (“we,” “us,” and “our”) manages your personal information.
How We Collect and Use Your Information
We may receive information about you:
- From you when you purchase our products or use our services, either directly from us or from third parties that contract with us to provide services and benefits. We strive to limit the collection, use, and access of personal information to the minimum necessary to provide you with effective and efficient service.
- From you when you choose to complete online forms, such as registering for service or submitting claim forms, or otherwise when you provide information by phone, fax, mail or email to us, such as your feedback about our performance or that of our third-party service providers.
- From our third-party service providers who help us provide roadside assistance and other services and benefits.

- geographical location, which may include home or other physical address, including street name and name of a city or town,
- e-mail address,
- telephone number.
When you visit our website, we log your current internet address. We may keep track of which portions of our website you visit. We aggregate this information to help us create a better experience for users of our website.
Disclosure Of Your Personal Information
We may disclose your personal information to third parties, if necessary or appropriate to help us provide products and services requested by you, and as permitted or required by applicable law or regulation. These third parties are only permitted to use your personal data to the extent necessary to enable them to provide their services. They are contractually obligated to comply with appropriate security measures to protect your personal data.
We will not sell or rent your personal information to any third parties.

Unfortunately, no transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and transmission of information via the internet is subject to compromise. Our Retention of Your Personal Information
Subject to any applicable law or regulation regarding mandatory deletion, your personal information may be stored and maintained until you instruct us otherwise, or at our discretion, for as long (a) as is necessary or appropriate to carry out the purpose(s) for which such information was collected, (b) as we are required to maintain such information by law or regulation, or (c) as we must retain the information to meet legal obligations.
Children’s Privacy
Our products and Services are not intended to be used by children under age of 16. We do not intentionally collect any personably identifiable information from children, although the forms on our website can collect online contact information from children who furnish it without parental consent or notification. We ask that children do not submit any personally identifiable information to us. If you believe that we have collected personally identifiable information from a child, please notify us using the “Contact Resources” below, and we will take appropriate steps.
Your Rights to Your Personal Information
You may request to know what specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the categories of the sources from which your personal information was collected, and the purpose(s) for which it was collected.
You may also request us to delete your personal information, subject to our right or need to retain it in accordance with applicable state privacy laws.
Requests may be made as follows: in writing by submitting a fax to 1-888-315-3710 or a letter to Roadside Protect, Inc. 1000 W. Irving Park Rd., Itasca IL 60143. Please include with your request: (i) your first and last name, (ii) your address, (iii) your telephone number, (iv) your relationship with us, and (v) a description of the information you disclosed to us. If your request does not contain this information, we may not be able to assist you. After your request, we may contact you to verify that you are the person whose personal information we have collected.
California Residents
Roadside Protect, Inc. Does not collect or retain sensitive personal information as defined in the California Privacy Rights Act, except for, in some instances, geographical location, which may include home or other physical address which we use to provide you with services you have requested.
The California Consumer Protection Act and California Privacy Rights Act provide California residents with additional rights, including:
Right to Know.
You have the right to know and see what data we have collected about you over the past 12 months, including:
- The categories of sensitive personal information we have collected about you;
- The categories of sources from which the sensitive personal information is collected;
- The business or commercial purpose for collecting your sensitive personal information;
- The categories of third parties with whom we have shared your sensitive personal information; and
- The specific pieces of sensitive personal information we have collected about you.
Right to Correct.
You have the right to request that we correct the personal information we have collected from you (and direct our service providers to do the same).
Right to Delete.
You have the right to request that we delete the personal information we have collected from you (and direct our service providers to do the same). There are a number of exceptions, however, that include, but are not limited to, when the information is necessary for us or a third party to do any of the following:
- Complete your transaction;
- Provide you a good or service;
- Perform a contract between us and you;
- Protect your security and prosecute those responsible for breaching it;
- Fix our system in the case of a bug;
- Protect the free speech rights of you or other users;
- Comply with the California Electronic Communications Privacy Act (Cal. Penal Code § 1546 et seq.);
- Engage in public or peer-reviewed scientific, historical, or statistical research in the public interests that adhere to all other applicable ethics and privacy laws;
- Comply with a legal obligation; or
- Make other internal and lawful uses of the information that are compatible with the context in which you provided it.
Right to Opt Out of Data Sharing
You have the right to elect to prevent us from sharing your personal data with third parties and/or affiliates. If you choose to do so, we will honor your request, however, we may not be able to provide optimal service. For example, if we are not permitted to share your location with a service provider, we may not be able to provide roadside assistance, or we may need to have you communicate directly with the service provider.
